A ROUND OF APPLAUSE FOR THE AUDIENCES 

The opportunity to collaborate with them arose from our design support for Big Team CIC's exciting Next Level program. This program offers aspiring musicians valuable mentorship opportunities, along with the chance to showcase their talents at prominent venues and festivals like Bristol Beacon, Glastonbury, and Love Saves the Day.

    THE BRIEF

    Bristol Beacon tasked us with creating a brand campaign to highlight the joy and unity of live events, focusing on how audiences elevate the experience. The campaign emphasizes the emotional power of shared moments, with a secondary "stimulation" strand to attract curious audiences eager to discover new and unexpected performances across music, comedy, and classical genres. Using short, impactful copy, the campaign is designed to evoke both connection and curiosity while ensuring strong brand consistency and recognition.

ONLY THE MOST ICONIC PERFORMANCE VENUE IN BRISTOL

Bristol Beacon has been a priority on our client wish list for quite some time — and for good reason. The vibrant performance venue has been around since 1867, hosting renowned artists from the worlds of live music, theatre, classical music, and comedy.

The opportunity to collaborate with them arose from our design support for Big Team CIC's exciting Next Level program. This program offers aspiring musicians valuable mentorship opportunities, along with the chance to showcase their talents at prominent venues and festivals like Bristol Beacon, Glastonbury, and Love Saves the Day.

When Bristol Beacon, one of the program's partners, showed great enthusiasm for our creative work, we arranged a meeting. And as they say, the rest is history!

ORCHESTRAL SEASON

With the pandemic and Bristol Beacon's construction of their new auditorium, the Orchestral Season has been on hold for a number of years. But with the new world-class space ready to reopen on the 30th November… it's back!

Hey! What? was set the task of creating the new brand for the forthcoming series of events that start in December. Bristol Beacon asked us to come up with an aesthetic that would appeal to their existing more mature audience as well as entice a new younger demographic.  Our solution was to create a dynamic look and feel which consists of striking, flowing lines which add beautiful movement to the orchestral collateral.  

HOUSE WARMING TEASER

Bristol Beacon are celebrating their re-opening with a day-to-night festival bursting with a colourful spectrum of Bristol creativity. We thought we'd produce some creative to match!

INSIDE OUT

Bristol Beacon's open music day Inside Out, will feature five floors filled with workshops, activities, and performances. The event provides an opportunity for participants to learn about the organisation's efforts to support music in Bristol. Throughout the day, local artists will deliver free performances and various workshops and demonstrations, such as DJ showcases and early years singing workshops. 

Hey! What? was asked to give the event a unique visual aesthetic that also worked alongside the Bristol Beacon brand. We created an energetic and flexible type treatment that was inspired by the movement of people and sound which resulted in this lively event branding. 

 

We produced design and animation collateral across outdoor, digital and social.
