Introducing…Yee Poon
They say if you want something hard enough, you’ll eventually get it. Turns out they were right, as we’ve got an introduction to make - to our brand new Senior Designer, Yee Poon!
You’ll probably recognise Yee, whether it’s from her instantly recognisable cartoon-style, instantly recognisable tattoos, or instantly recognisable cameos on our socials, but wherever you know her from, prepare to get to know her better!
Yee’s joining us off the back of three years at Supple in Bath, where she was designer and illustrator. Prior to that she worked alongside Hamish at Halo in Bristol, where Hamish (her work Dad) employed her way back when as Junior Designer, so it looks like it’s gone full circle and the family’s being reunited! From the early days of Hey! What?, Hamish has always had Yee in his sights as a key addition to the team, and she’s been a great friend of the agency since day one, regularly crashing our team socials and even our recent agency trip to Offf Festival (jokes, we invited her to that).
Yee’s going to bring her distinct style in both design and illustration to the studio, and we can’t wait to get her working on some new and exciting projects we’ve got lined up. She is a total weapon, so we can’t wait to unleash her in the studio and show you why she’s definitely been worth the wait!
